Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge Public Hunting. Permits are available at Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center on Rt 148 South in Marion daily from 8am-4:40pm. Daily permits are available 24 hours from the drop box located in front of the Visitors Center entrance.

Licenses, Stamps and HIP
Hunters must have a current, valid hunting license, Harvest Information Program (HIP) registration/certification and Federal and State Migratory Waterfowl Stamps in their possession at all times when afield. Federal stamps must be signed in ink across the face of the stamp. Please refer to the 2010-2011 Digest of Hunting and Trapping Regulations for exemptions and further information.

** Does not include agent’s fee which may be .50 or .75 .
A State Habitat Stamp is NOT required to hunt waterfowl
