She reached new heights with Yes I Am (1993), featuring the chart-topping “I’m the Only One” and Grammy®-winning “Come to My Window,” followed by her highest-charting album, Your Little Secret (1995), and ASCAP Songwriter of the Year honors.\nRenowned for her confessional songwriting and unmistakable raspy vocals, Etheridge has remained a powerful force in American music for decades. Her career milestones include an Academy® Award win in 2007 for “I Need to Wake Up” from An Inconvenient Truth, and her courageous public appearances during and after her successful battle with breast cancer.\nIn recent years, Etheridge has continued to evolve creatively with acclaimed releases including Memphis Rock & Soul (2016), The Medicine Show (2019), and One Way Out (2021).
