A village with 1,000 plus residents and growing. Crainville is located in the heart of beautiful Southern Illinois, and centrally located on Route 13 between Marion and Carbondale. The surrounding region offers thriving business communities boosted by Southern Illinois University and John A. Logan Community College along with scenic lakes, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, and many recreational opportunities. Crainville has a T.I.F. Highlights
Community Center
The Community Room is available to rent daily from 8am to 10pm, Wednesdays until 3pm. Time blocks for events are in 4-hour and 8-hour increments. Additional hours can be added if needed for an additional fee. Deposit required. Seats 64 theater-style for meetings, or seats 40 for dinners. The room has a small kitchen (no stove) designed for catering services.
