Devils Kitchen Cabins
Devils Kitchen Cabins are secluded deep in the woods of Southern Illinois adjacent to Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Devils Kitchen Lake, Little Grassy Lake, and Crab Orchard Lake. Owners Lynn and Jan Bush are the 4th generation to live on this 80-acre property.
Highlights
These two rustic cabins are designed to sleep four guests comfortably. The futon in the great room also sleeps two in front of the fireplace. Enjoy the modern comforts of home with a few extra luxuries and relax in the atmosphere of the great outdoors!
The cozy great room features a natural stone fire place, HDTV, satellite, and a quality entertainment/sound system extending to the front porch and back deck. Guests can unwind in the large 6-person sunken hot tub on the screened-in back deck and enjoy the breathtaking view. Host a cook-out on the large gas barbecue grill and enjoy an evening fire out back next to the creek-rock fire pit. Owners will furnish the firewood!
Custom furniture and woodwork can be seen throughout the cabins. The full kitchen features beautiful natural hickory cabinets; the main floor, bedroom, and loft offer log queen size beds, dressers, and end tables; and the front porch swing and rocking chairs are all hand-crafted and Amish-made.
Sunday thru Thursday - $150 per night
Friday AND Saturday - $360 for the weekend
Weekly - $980 for 7 nights

Tips for Devils Kitchen Cabins
Activities – Surrounded by woods, guests are likely to see and hear a variety of wildlife species so bring your binoculars! Throw on your hiking boots and explore a variety of hiking trails that wind all around Devils Kitchen Lake. Local restaurants, shopping locations, and area wineries are a short 10-15-minute drive.
Regulations – Maximum of 6 people allowed in cabins. Guests must be 21 years or older to rent cabins. Smoking is NOT permitted in the cabins. If owners smell tobacco, a $200 de-fuming fee will be charged.
Clean up before you leave! – The bathroom includes a spacious full-size shower with seat and a washer and dryer.
