Herrin Park District
Beautiful park with lots of activities for both the young and old. You can enjoy a stroll on the walking path, play a game of tennis, or relax by the pool. Herrin Park District is a beautiful, well-kept park with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool as well as a multi-purpose recreation complex. The park offers two walking paths with a quarter-mile all-weather track and a one-mile lighted walking trail. Herrin Park is an excellent place for a leisurely jog. You can even enjoy feeding the beautiful ducks.

Playgrounds
Herrin Park has multiple playgrounds areas built for all ages. Find slides, swings, and even merry-go-rounds each close to a pavilion with large grassy areas for all kinds of play.
Sports
Herrin Park is the home to baseball and softball fields as well as a skate park, basketball and tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, an aquatic center, and a brand new disc golf course.
Aquatic Center
Harrison Bruce Aquatic Center is home to the Herrin Tigersharks swim teams and also hosts multiple swim meets throughout the Summer season. The pool is open to the public and does offer private swim lessons. Rental of the aquatic center is also available for private parties.
Tips for Herrin Park District
Wildlife – The park is home to many animals including squirrels and ducks. Please refrain from feeding the animals.
