Rules And Information
1. There will be fourteen age divisions in the pageant that are listed above. Age divisions are subject to change and at the discretion of the pageant director, based on number of entries.
2. Contestants will compete in dressy attire for the pageant modeling. Pageant, holiday, special occasion, church dresses, etc. for girls and dress pants and shirt, suits, tuxedos, etc. for boys. Contestants will be judged during the pageant in the areas of appearance, beauty, poise, personality, and on stage question (ages 4 and older). Trophies will be awarded to the 1st runner up pageant winners in each age group. The pageant winner in each age group will be crowned Queen or King and alternates will also be crowned. Anyone not crowned one of the above will be crowned Princess or Prince. Every contestant will receive a crown and sash.
3. There will be optional side awards for each age division that will be judged during the contestant first look line up during the pageant. These side awards are best attire, most beautiful/handsome, most personality, prettiest/best hair, prettiest/best eyes, and prettiest/best smile. Age divisions are subject to change based on number of entries (age groups may be combined if there is only one entry in a division). The side awards are not mandatory. Medallions will be awarded to the side award winners in each age group.
4. There will be an optional theme wear division for each age group. The contestant will model snowflake themed or winter themed attire. Small hand held props can be used. Theme wear competition is not mandatory. Themed outfits will be modeled first and pageant attire second. Trophies will be awarded to the winners and 1st runner up winners for the theme wear category in each age group.
5. There will be an optional photogenic competition for each age group. Trophies will be awarded to the photogenic winners in each age group.
6. Photogenic photos will be submitted online to the pageant director and will be uploaded to the Facebook event page and judged online. Photos can be professional, snap shot, black and white, or sepia. No glitz, photoshopped, edited, filtered, etc. photos allowed. Photogenic awards will be given out during the age group awards ceremony.
7. There will be optional overall awards. An overall photogenic winner will be awarded to the contestant who receives the highest number of photogenic points. An overall theme wear winner will be awarded to the contestant who receives the highest number of theme wear points. An overall pageant winner will be awarded to the contestant who receives the highest number of pageant points. And an overall high point winner will be awarded to the contestant who receives the highest combined number of points in all categories. All overall winners will receive a sash and large trophy.
8. The beauty pageant is the only mandatory entry ($45.00). Theme wear, side awards, photogenic, and overall awards are all optional entry.
9. All contestants will need to arrive to register and check in at 12:00. There are restrooms available to change clothes if needed.
10. A photo of the contestant should also be submitted to the director for the purpose of online display on the event page when the entry fee is paid. This does not have to be the same photo as your photogenic entry photo.
11. Entry fees are listed on the entry form. Entry fees can be paid with Venmo or Cash App. Entries will be accepted until November 24, 2024. No entries will be accepted after November 24, 2024 unless the pageant director extends the deadline. NO EXCEPTIONS!
12. There is a 20% sibling discount on sibling entries. You pay full price entry fee for the first child and get 20% off all sibling entry fees.
13. Unsportsmanlike conduct and drama will not be tolerated. The pageant director has the authority to reject an entry due to this behavior.
14. This pageant will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 1:00 pm, at the Herrin Civic Center.
15. There will be a $5.00 admission fee at the pageant. Children under the age of 10 years old, contestants, and visiting royalty will be admitted free.
16. Winners of this pageant will have the opportunity to participate in community service activities, special events, and local parades.
17. There will be no refunds on entry fees unless this pageant is canceled. Pageant postponement, rescheduling, sickness, emergencies, etc. does not constitute a refund. Pageant fees can’t be transferred to another pageant or event. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Additional Crowns
Would your child like to be eligible to receive additional crowns during the awards ceremony? Here are three ways to receive additional crowns with no extra cost to you!
1. If you register for this pageant on or before November 1, 2024 your child will receive an early bird crown during the awards ceremony. Your mandatory pageant entry fee ($45) must be paid by this date. All other entry fees are due by November 24, 2024.
2. If a contestant sells 6 or more pre-sale pageant admission tickets and/or well wishes before November 24, 2024 the contestant will receive a ticket sales crown during the awards ceremony. Pre-sale tickets and well wishes must be purchased from a contestant on or before November 24, 2024. There will also be a high ticket sales/well wishes award given for the contestant who sells the most pre-sale tickets and/or well wishes. Parents will collect ticket money and a list of names and turn into the director by the deadline. Tickets and well wishes are $5.00 each and everyone over the age of 10 needs an admission ticket to get into the pageant. The list of those who purchased advance tickets will be at the door and you will need to check in when you get to the pageant. Everyone who doesn’t purchase an advance ticket will pay a $5.00 admission at the door.
3. If you refer another contestant and they enter the pageant and give your name, your child and that child will receive a referral crown during the awards ceremony. The contestant must enter this pageant by the registration deadline. You may only receive one referral crown per pageant.
