Walk for The Wild

Join the Friends of Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service in the Walk for the Wild 5K Challenge at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 12, starting at the Refuge visitor center Staff and volunteers will lead a guided walk starting on the Homestead Trail, crossing the Headquarters Prairie and Demonstration Plots, continuing to Harmony Trail, the field surrounding the parking lot, and ending up back at the Headquarters flagpole.
