Little Egypt Arts Association Mural

The Little Egypt Arts Association Mural was painted in 2009 by Kris Killman of Marion IL and approximately 33 volunteers. Each person painted into the mural represents a past President of LEAA (Little Egypt Arts Association). The mural was originally designed to help people find the art center. Kris Killman designed it with the thought that nothing draws the human eye to a subject like other humans and disasters. Combining the two he used past presidents of LEAA to populate the mural with people working around the art center oblivious to the huge gaping hole in the side of it. Many art related items were hidden in the mural. The mural was started and completed in 2009.
