Bogard Point Trail
Experience this scenic short trail around the Wolf Creek Picnic area. With benches and picnic tables around you can enjoy Blue Heron watching or a relaxing picnic. The paved surface helps with navigating strollers, wheelchairs or mobility equipment.
Highlights
This 0.2 mile loop trail is considered an easy route that can be completed in about 4-5 minutes.
The scenic trail is located on the north shores of Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge off of Wolf Creek Road.
Walkers and hikers are welcome. Pets are also welcomed but must be kept on a leash.
Tips for Bogard Point Trail
Parking – On the northeast end of the trail is a small paved parking lot, that also has a van accessible stripped access aisle. If you have an accessibility placard or plate parking along the causeway is permitted.
Hours – The trail is open from sunrise to sunset.
