Louie's P&R

Louie's P&R has been a fixture in Southern Illinois since opening its doors in the late 1890's. Originally established as D&R Market, it was renamed P&R in 1950 and when purchased by Louie Gualdoni and his family seven years later it became Louie's P&R. The Gualdoni family owned Louie's for 62 years. In 2019 the current owners, the Christs, purchased the market.

Recipes for hand made sausage have been used for the last 125 years. The special recipe Italian Salameat is deliciously unique.
