Ray Fosse Park

Marion Park District maintains the facilities at Ray Fosse Park from early spring through late fall for various sports associations, leagues, and clubs. Ray Fosse Park is home of the annual triathlon and collaborates with other organizations in providing its best to the community.

Highlights

The Joy of Playing

This park is home to the Heartland Regional Medical Center Inclusive Playground. This new edition to the park features a play space universally designed so ALL children and families can play together, with no physical or social barriers. Additionally, there are other playgrounds nearby along with 5 pavilion shelters of which 3 are rentable.

Play Ball!

Ray Fosse Park provides 8 baseball/softball fields with lights and scoreboards. There is one concession area managed by a vendor located on Otis Street.

Splish-Splash

The Aquatics Center features a swimming pool, water slide, diving boards, separate baby pool with mushroom sprinkler fountain and concession area. During the summer months, Ray Fosse Park is host to the Marion Marlins swim meets and championships.

Tips for Ray Fosse Park

Black Diamond Pickleball Complex – This outdoor venue features 6 lighted courts, bleacher seating, and pavilion. Pick-up a game and learn to play this popular sport!

Bags Complex – Located behind the pickleball complex is a bags/board oasis offering 4 courts, a pergola, and seating area.

Goofy Golf – Win a free game of Goofy Golf when you get the ball in the target at the end of your round. Don’t forget to bring some cash for a sno cone at the Goofy Sno!
