Satchmo and the Duke
On the building of Byassee Music and Sound, ``Satchmo and the Duke`` depicts Duke Ellington on piano and Louis Armstrong on trumpet. The joy of music and the happiness of two of America's most well-known musicians meet in this 22-foot mural. This contemporary work by Josh Benson, a self-taught artist, was completed in 2020 and is of the many public art installations in the Marion Mural District.
