Shawnee Stems
This 'budding' U-pick farm connects visitors with nature while snipping your own arrangement of garden flowers or fresh picked vegetables. Create lovely bouquets for yourself, an event, or gifts for others.
Highlights
Self-Serve
Pricing for flowers, cups/pitchers, veggies, eggs, and firewood are listed on site. Venmo is available, cash payments are preferred. Please use the honesty box at the farm stand. Ready-made bouquets and arrangements might be available for grab and go!
Sunflower Patch
Park near the farm stand to enjoy the flower garden, then head over to the sunflower patch located just a short drive away. A separate pair of clippers will be available at the wrapping station.
Professional Photo Sesssions
Shawnee Stems is more than happy to allow professional photography, but please call ahead as there is a small hourly rate.
Before You Go
Please wear appropriate attire/shoes and bring drinking water, bug spray, and sunscreen. Children must be attended by an adult; pets must be leashed, well behaved, and up to date on vaccinations.
Tips for Shawnee Stems
Watering Tips – Please do not leave flowers in the hot car if you stop somewhere afterward- they will wilt! It is also recommended to water your sunflower(s) twice a day.
Future Peonies – Peonies take several years to really start producing. Stay tuned to mid to late Spring 2024/25 for the first peony harvest! *Available by the stem and eventually for U-pick.
