StarView Vineyards is family owned & operated by Brett & Regina Morrison. Brett has been in the wine industry since 1998! Brett introduced Regina to the “wine lifestyle” and she has loved being involved in the tasting room operations. Regina & Brett are enjoying their life in southern Illinois, it reminds them of Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, which is where they moved from in the summer of 2013. StarView Vineyards was founded in 2006. Prior to StarView, our property was home to Wing Hill Winery. That business operated out of what is now our winemaking facility. In 2005 the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail was established, and we were the 6th winery to join. The Wine Trail has grown in popularity and currently there are 11 member wineries.
The vineyards are continuing to expand and today we grow seven varieties of both Native American grapes and French American Hybrids. They have approximately 7.5 acres of vineyards. About 90% of the wine that is made here comes from grapes that are grown in the vineyards. Starview takes great pride in growing the grapes and making the wine. Starview is a member of the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintner’s Association.
The restored barn is a beautiful space for your event. With seating up to 100, it makes the perfect spot for bridal & baby showers, birthday & graduation parties, corporate meetings and intimate wedding receptions. The space is heated & cooled with private bathrooms & your own personal bartender to ensure your event goes as planned. Starview is also able to accommodate wedding ceremonies on the property.
Be sure to grab a bite to eat while enjoying a glass of wine. From snacks & desserts, to sandwiches & salads, the tasty menu will satisfy that craving of yours.
