Gem, Mineral, Fossil and Jewelry Show
Spring is on its way and so is the Southern Illinois Earth Science Club Gem, Mineral, Fossil, and Jewelry Show at The Pavilion of the City of Marion in Marion, Illinois!
Saturday, April 10th, 2027, from 10 am to 6 pm.
Sunday, April 11th, 2027, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Sunday, April 11th, 2027, from 10 am to 5 pm.
The Pavilion is located behind the Illinois Centre Mall off Rt. 13 and west of I-57.
This is the only club-sponsored Gem and Mineral show south of Springfield.
Admission is $2 for adults (exact change strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated) and children 18 and under free.

It is an educational and entertaining event. Club members from all over Southern Illinois will have many interesting exhibits for the whole family,
Returning this year will be an exhibit of fossils from the Earth Experience – Middle Tennessee Museum of Natural History. Some items they have brought to past shows have been real and museum-quality replica casts of a T-Rex skull, dire wolf skull, and saber-tooth cat skull. The museum will also have related items from the gift shop.
Clement Ben E. Mineral Museum will have an educational exhibit of some fantastic fluorite and information about the museum.
