Alliance Members, Derek & Libby Ervin of Glaciers End in partnership with Food Works, will host the 3rd Annual Southern Illinois Soil Health Symposium as part of SoIL Health Week 2025!

Engage in an evening of discussions and insights on the importance of Southern Illinois health.  Whether you’re a farmer, environmentalist, or simply passionate about sustainable agriculture, this event is for you.  This year will focus on Composting, Agroforestry, and the benefits of gardens, farms, and food forests.

Dig Into Composting with Alliance Board Member, Amy Bartucci of the Illinois Food Scrap & Composting Coalition, and MJ Oviatt from the Savanna Institute who will be doing an introduction to Agroforestry and its benefits.
