Southern Illinois Taco Festival

Marion, Illinois. The Southern Illinois Taco Festival, presented by PMR Automotive, is actively
seeking restaurant caterers and event sponsors for its event, scheduled for Tuesday, April 21,
2026, at The Pavilion in Marion.

The event is intentionally open to all interpretations of tacos, not just traditional Tex-Mex
cuisine. Restaurants offering BBQ, seafood, traditional Mexican, vegetarian or vegan,
fusion-style, or any other taco styles are all encouraged to participate.

“This festival is about creativity and community,” said event organizer Nicole Miskelley. “We
want tacos that reflect the full range of food talent we have in Southern Illinois. If it fits in a
tortilla, it belongs at this event.”

Restaurants interested in being considered as caterers for the taco dinner portion of the event are
invited to complete a brief, no-obligation interest form. The form allows organizers to better
understand menu offerings, service capacity, and overall interest. Submission does not constitute
a commitment.

Selected caterers will be contacted with full event details, logistics, and participation
requirements once the interest period concludes.

The Southern Illinois Taco Festival is also seeking local and regional sponsors interested in
supporting a community-focused, high-visibility event. Sponsorship opportunities will include
brand exposure before and during the festival, on-site presence, and recognition across digital
and promotional materials.

A portion of the festival’s proceeds will benefit local charities, with supported organizations to
be announced at a later date.
