Flagday Firework Extravaganza
A summer kickoff celebration featuring live music, food, and fireworks is coming to the Marion Shawnee National Forest KOA next month.
The campground announced that it will host a public Flag Day celebration on Saturday, June 13, with festivities beginning in the evening and a fireworks show scheduled for 9 p.m.
Live music from The J Sound will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the campground’s outdoor patio ahead of the fireworks display.
Guests will also be able to access the campground’s Burger Bar, outdoor patio, and water park during the event. Officials said tickets will be required for admission into the water park area.
The Marion Shawnee National Forest KOA is encouraging families to arrive early and enjoy the lakeside atmosphere before the fireworks begin.
