Sulla's Café & Taverna

Housed in the award-winning, meticulously restored historic building at 131 South Division Street, Sulla’s Café & Taverna is set to bring a fresh Greek-inspired dining experience to downtown Carterville. Owner Sulla Gatses (formerly of Pagliai’s in Carbondale) returns to the community she fell in love with during her college years at SIU, blending her culinary expertise with her Greek heritage. Guests can look forward to a vibrant all-day gathering spot featuring a coffee shop, full bar, and a menu infused with Mediterranean flavors alongside Southern Illinois favorites.
