Join us for a fun, meaningful day as we celebrate the 16th Annual VA2K and Health Fair—promoting whole health, community connection, and support for our struggling and homeless Veterans.
This year’s theme is Red, White, and Blue in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, with a focus on Inclusivity, Empathy, and Unity.

Take part in our 2K walk (1.24 miles) and enjoy a refreshing afternoon supporting Veterans and your own well being.

• Help us “Stuff the Bus” with pantry items! Donation station located by the flagpole.
• The Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) will be on-site to assist and provide receipts for tax purposes if needed.

Community Impact
Since 2011, VA2K events nationwide have raised over $3 million to assist homeless Veterans. Here in Marion, we raise $4,000–$5,000 each year—and every contribution makes a real difference.

Recommended Donations (please include the approximate value of your items to help with keeping)
1. Food: Pop top, canned vegetables/ soups/ beans (low sodium preferred), juice (100%), canned salmon/tuna/chicken, nuts, fruit cups or cans (water or 100% juice), shelf stable milk, whole grain/whole wheat pasta, brown rice or other grain, oatmeal, peanut butter, granola bars, popcorn, etc.
2. New clothing: shirts, pants, socks, underwear, jackets, coats, shoes, etc.
3. Hygiene: soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, mouth wash, razor, shaving cream, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
4. Miscellaneous: bags, backpacks
