Blackberry Smoke

Blackberry Smoke is a Southern rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, known for their blend of Southern rock, blues, and vintage country. Formed in 2000, the band quickly gained attention with their raw, energetic sound and authentic storytelling. Over the years, they’ve built a devoted fanbase through relentless touring and dynamic live performances.

The current lineup includes Charlie Starr, Paul Jackson, Richard Turner, Benji Shanks, Brandon Still, as well as touring member Kent Aberle. Their latest album, Be Right Here, released in 2024, showcases the band’s evolution and maturity. The album was recorded between late 2022 and early 2023 at Nashville’s RCA Studio A and Cobb’s Georgia Mae studio in Savannah during a challenging period as former drummer Brit Turner was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The band approached the recording process with care and deliberation, collaborating once again with Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb.

To support the album, Blackberry Smoke is currently on the “Be Right Here Tour,” bringing their new music to fans across the country. The tour highlights the band’s evolution while staying true to their roots, offering fans an intimate and powerful live experience. With Be Right Here, Blackberry Smoke continues to solidify their place in the rock ‘n’ roll landscape, blending their signature Southern sound with a renewed sense of purpose and passion.
