Book Sale
The Friends of the Anne West Lindsey District Library in Carterville, IL will host a spring book sale Thursday, April 16 from 10am-5pm, Friday, April 17 from 10am to 5pm, and Saturday, April 18 from 10am to 4pm.
During the book sale, books will be sold for $5 per bag, with bags provided by the library. Bags purchased in previous years can be filled for $4 a bag. Book donations can be dropped off at the library prior to the book sale. Proceeds will benefit library programs and initiatives.
The “Friends” organization is a non-profit organization that helps raise funds to support library programs.
Angie Oetjen, president of the “Friends of the Library” board, says, “The Friends are proud to support the Anne West Lindsey District Library.” She also stated, “This year alone, through membership dues and donations, we have helped fund the Summer Reading Program and the purchase of furnishings for the new children’s area.”
