Cultivating Care Garden

Gain confidence in the garden. Visit with Illinois Extension staff or volunteers on select Monday mornings from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Cultivating Care Garden. Learn how to water, weed, and harvest produce, which will be weighed and delivered to the Salvation Army Food Pantry in Marion. Have fun meeting up with other community members and sharing gardening tips. You can feel good about your hard work knowing it feeds our neighbors, friends, and families in need. Registration is recommended so you can be contacted if a stewardship day is canceled due to poor weather conditions. Online registration will close the Thursday before the workday at noon. To register visit https://go.illinois.edu/Stewardship2025
Kim Rohling is your local Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator. Erica Lunde is your local Illinois Extension Horticulture Program Coordinator. Sasha Milburn is a lead Master Gardener Volunteer at this site.
