Herrin House of Hope Block Party

Herrin House of Hope (HHOH) is launching it’s 2nd Annual Block Party! Join us on Saturday May, 2nd at Herrin House of Hope, 112 N. 14th Street, Herrin, IL 62948 from 11 AM to 2 PM for this free family event where we will have live music, food, dunk tank, games, activities, and much more! 

This annual event is to raise awareness of the Summer Free Meal Program that operates Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM during the summer months. This event also gives local businesses, organizations, and churches the opportunity to fund each day of operation during the program. Our goal is to combat food insecurity in our area. The Herrin House of Hope provides meals Monday through Friday each and every week, for an average of 5,000 children’s meals per year. During the summer months we feed an average of 3,000 children’s meals.
