The Carterville Community Center (Fred G. Harrison Annex) opened in 2005 and is a wonderful venue for events, accommodating up to approximately 350 people. This completely handicap-accessible building is part of beautiful Cannon Park.

The banquet room measures 115' long x 53' wide, and includes a large oak dance floor and two projector screens. There are 14 4' x 8' panels throughout the room for decorating. Included in the rental fees are: 49" x 33" round tables, 6' tables, and 8' tables (head table and food), and black vinyl chairs.

Beer, wine and champagne is allowed; other alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Alcohol must be provided to your guests and not sold, and must remain in the building at all times. All items brought into the building should be removed following the event, or may become subject to becoming property of the community center, as well as deposit possibly becoming forfeited. Caterers are welcome to the facility free of charge, with the understanding that they are responsible for cleaning the kitchen and removing any trash from the building.

Small parties with less than 50 guests in attendance (showers, birthday parties, etc.) that will not use the facility for more than three hours can rent the facility for $80. All events require a refundable damage deposit of up to $250.
