What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It can be played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes and can be played as doubles or singles. It is a sport enjoyed by all ages and skill levels.

Black Diamond Business Family

Marion Park District and the Black Diamond family of businesses helped complete the complex located at Ray Fosse Park. The courts are constructed with the Black Diamond color scheme incorporated into the design. Color-coordinated bleacher seating and pavilion are provided for player and spectator enjoyment.

Tournaments

The Black Diamond Pickleball Complex hosts multiple tournaments each year. Check the calendar for the dates of the Spring Slam and the Halloween Havoc tourneys.
